Perk virus which is also known as Perk redirect malware is an annoying extension or add-on which can alter your homepage, system registry and DNS settings. Once it has modified these settings, you,ll get redirected to http://Perk.com or similar domains every time you search something on Google or even while surfing another legit website. That Perk.com domain promotes a free web browser which seems and claims to be a useful and better software but in fact it is nothing more then a commercial application which is designed by suspicious persons for gaining financial benefits. Usually the Perk redirect virus infects a computer secretly, its main target is to convince user into downloading and using Perk application. As this bug violates your privacy and security settings and it causes annoying Perk redirects, its recommended to remove this malware immediately before it causes big loss.

To manually remove Perk, follow the instructions.
First of all, Uninstall the program. (Skip to the next step if the application is not listed in Control Panel).
“Start > Settings > Control Panel. Now Locate and open “Add or Remove Programs” or “PROGRAMS AND FEATURES”. Find “Perk”. Now click Uninstall/Remove.
Now remove the program from Browser.
Internet Explorer users:

Block Perk pop-ups
To stop pop-ups from malware,
Click on TOOLS > POP-UP BLOCKER, then click TURN ON POP-UP BLOCKER. and then go to POP-UP BLOCKER SETTINGS. (Type any website you wish to block popups from)
Go to “Tools” (at the top), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable “Perk”
Click “Tools/Settings” (Wrench incon), > “Add-ons” > “Extensions” and disable any file associate with malware.

Delete Perk infected files:
