The Protected Search by conduit is a very stubborn browser extension that itself can be added to Mozilla firefox, Chrome, Internet explorer or Safari. As soon as it gets insatlled, it changes default DNS, homepage and related Internet settings. After this, it becomes able to diver your Google, Yahoo or Bing search results to Protected Search.

When infected by this hijacker, Protected Search toolbar will appear on your browser that makes computer run slower. It frequently displays an error saying “Protected Search has stopped working” and when this error appears, your system/browser crashes automatically. System restore:
